CALL FOR PAPERS – Special Issue of the Journal Logica Universalis provides space on the topic of the logical status of diagrams, in order to advance the goal of universal logic by exploring common and/or unique features of visual reasoning.
The Journal of Visual Culture has recently published an article written by Sara Schneckloth entitled “Marking Time, Figuring Space: Gesture and the Embodied Moment”. Sara works in a variety of media as a way to explore the potential of contemporary drawing practice. She is an Assistant Professor of Drawing at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, USA.

NEW DRAWING JOURNAL- The Department of Drawing and Visual Communication of the Faculty for Architecture in Lisbon, is happy to announce the launch of the first issue of the magazine LINHA DO HORIZONTE (Horizon Line), dedicated to Drawing. The launch of this new journal will be made at the ‘Drawing In Question’ conference taking place on the 25th and 26th March 2010.
